Bouroullec is a name that barely requires an introduction. Ronan and Erwan, brothers that bear this name, famous in the world of design are among the most prolific designers of their generation. Their work is notorious for their measured aesthetic, creative, functional and overall well thought out design.

Until the 28th of August 2016 the cultural centre Frac – Fond Regional d’Art Contemporaine Bretagne in Rennes (France) – dedicates its spaces to the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in the “Retrospective” exhibition.
Rennes hosts this amazing cultural event which sees four exhibitions by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec presented at three establishments including Frac Bretagne, Parlement de Bretagne and Each show has a focus on a different aspect of the Brothers’ design practices that they engaged with for over 20 years.

The exhibition ‘Retrospective’ is on show at Frac Bretagne and is devoted to their industrial projects and is carefully presented through a modular layout specially created for the venue. This display encapsulates the pairs’ ability to redefine design by incorporating function, detail and creativity through a immense versatility. Part of this collection sees the famous Osso and Uncino range designed for Mattiazzzi by the Duo.
Their artful, functional and creative masterpieces are clearly manifested in their ability to apply a certain emotional and functionality to their design practices.
