The popular Beach Road Hotel in Bondi has undergone some major renovations. As part of the Fit out, HG supplied the stools – The Tangerine Stool Designed by Simon James for Resident.
Resident is a New Zealand based brand that has made headway in the design world. Appearing the World’s best and most renowned exhibitions including the Milan Furniture fair, New York Design Week (ICFF) , Clerkenwell Design Week, Archetypal Hong Kong and most recently, Denfair Melbourne.
As co-founder and creative director of Resident, James’ design emphasize a coercion of function and clean lines with strong attention to detail. This is particularly evident in the Tangerine series.
The Tangerine stool’s lightweight and streamlined appearance is tempered by the robustness of steel crossbars, making the product ideal for contract use – a clever choice by The Beach Road Hotel!
Carrying on the iconic seat and back detail this stool is available with and without a back. Colours include a black stain or in natural with steel crossbars.
